Set an intention for the day first thing in the morning - keep a watchful eye on negative thought patterns throughout the day to stop them in their tracks.
Stop judging your negative thoughts - when negative thoughts arise, use them to explore your inner emotional state to learn about yourself.
Surround yourself with people who inspire you to do better - let these people be your role models to inspire your positive thoughts and actions.
Be patient with yourself when old negative thoughts or behaviors appear - it’s okay to fall back into old negative thought patterns from time to time, and having patience with yourself when this happens will allow you to snap out of the fog easier.
It takes consistent practice to instill a new positive thought pattern - assess and reframe the negative thought when you find yourself in a situation were you’re falling into a very negative mindset.
Slow down enough to bring awareness to your thoughts - learn to distinguish between the thoughts that empower you and those that are undermining your happiness and self worth.
Never lose sight of the qualities that bring you success - success is a relative term, find your personal definition of what success looks like to you by bringing awareness to the thoughts and behaviors that brings you joy & fulfillment in each day.
MINDSET TIP: Try using a journal to write down your thoughts (both positive & negative) throughout the day, so you can recognize them & celebrate the positive thoughts and then either reframe the negative thoughts or simply let them go.
Value yourself and other around you by having the patience and creating the space in your life to bring awareness to your thoughts and then be grateful for all that exists in your life. Take a moment throughout your day to reflect upon what you are grateful for to help bring awareness to your positive thoughts and instill these simple 7 tips to embracing a more positive mindset as working mom.
