3 New Year’s Resolutions Every Person Needs This Year

Do you make New Year’s resolutions? I’ve been reflecting upon how it’s all connected lately. When you scan all the articles about what successful people do or even what not to do, you start to see similarities across all genres. It all comes down to what you put on, in, and around your body. From mindset to physical health and nourishing your spirit, we can all benefit from gaining awareness of what we can do or change to realign ourselves and feel our best this year. Today on the blog & podcast, I’m sharing 3 New Year’s resolutions you need to make this year to live your healthiest, most joyful life.

3 New Year’s Resolutions Every Person Needs This Year

#1 SET YOUR MIND

Being mindful of daily routine is a key first step in bringing awareness and finding your joy. Set intentional steps to be mindful of what you eat, what you think, and what you put on your body. This intentional routine will help bring flow to your days and allow you to set aside 10 minutes for daily meditation and time in silence as well.

#2 MOVE YOUR BODY

Get back to the basics and focus on the main four areas of physical health: move your body, eat wholesome foods and stay hydrated, sleep well, and get daily sunlight to help your daily hormones work efficiently.  When it comes to exercise, don’t stress about it needing to be so regimented, a daily 30 min walk will work wonders to begin.

#3 NOURISH YOUR SPIRIT

Remember to spend time in nature and take time for a creative hobby or interest that you enjoy, especially if it’s been a while since you’ve done something just for pure enjoyment.

These 3 New Year’s goals will help you manage your energy in the new year by harmonizing your mind, body, and spirit.
